The difference is who owns the formula. If you already have one, OEM is the shorter and cheaper route. If you do not, ODM removes the development work from your side.

What brand owners and importers ask most often before moving a recipe into production with us.
What is OEM beverage manufacturing?
OEM beverage manufacturing means you supply the formula and specification, and the manufacturer produces it under your brand. You keep ownership of the recipe. It differs from ODM, where the manufacturer develops the formula from your brief.
Do I have to disclose my full formula?
We need the specification required to produce and to meet destination market regulations. Commercial confidentiality is covered by a non-disclosure agreement signed before the specification is shared.
What is the minimum order quantity for OEM production?
ACMFOOD’s standard minimum is 500 cartons per SKU. Where you order a full 20ft container load, or where the packaging format and print method change the economics, the figure is negotiable. The minimum order quantity page sets out how it varies by format.
How long does an OEM project take?
ACMFOOD production lead time is 15 to 30 days from confirmed order, subject to raw material and packaging availability. Feasibility review, trial runs and artwork approval happen before this window and typically add a few weeks.
Can you match a product I currently buy from another supplier?
Yes. Send a reference sample and specification sheet. We run trial batches and adjust until the result matches your reference within an agreed tolerance.
Which certifications do the production facilities hold?
The facilities ACMFOOD produces in hold HACCP, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000. Copies are released for supplier qualification and buyer audits; scopes and issuing bodies are listed on the certifications page.
What packaging formats are available?
ACMFOOD fills aluminium cans in standard, slim and sleek profiles, PET bottles and glass bottles. Fill volumes range from 200ml to 1.5L, with 250ml, 320ml, 330ml and 500ml being the most widely used.
What are the payment and shipping terms?
ACMFOOD invoices on T/T terms, with the Incoterm and document set agreed per order. Goods leave from Ho Chi Minh City Port, Vietnam. See export and logistics for documentation and transit planning.
