ACMFOOD manufactures OEM, ODM and private label beverages in Vietnam for Emirati importers, distributors and brand owners. Minimum order is 500 cartons per SKU and production takes 15 to 30 days. The UAE is both a consumer market and the distribution hub for the wider region. Goods clearing at Jebel Ali frequently move on to Saudi Arabia, Oman and East Africa, so packaging and documentation are often specified for re-export as well as for local retail.

What is the minimum order quantity for the UAE?
500 cartons per SKU is the standard minimum. Several SKUs can be combined into one container, which suits importers building an assortment for local retail and regional re-export.
Does the label have to be in Arabic?
Mandatory information must appear in Arabic alongside English. We plan bilingual artwork from the first draft, because retrofitting Arabic copy into a layout designed for English usually means redoing the label.
Can the production date be applied as a sticker?
No. Production and expiry dates are expected to be printed on the original packaging. This has to be set up on the production line, so it needs to be agreed before the run rather than solved afterwards.
Is Halal certification required?
Halal certification is required for this market. Confirm with your importer which certifying body is accepted, as the recognised list can change.
Is there a minimum shelf life remaining on arrival?
Gulf markets apply requirements for the proportion of shelf life remaining when goods arrive. The exact figure should be confirmed with the authority rather than assumed, and it should shape your production and shipping schedule.
Can I use the UAE as a base for the region?
Many buyers do. Jebel Ali is the main regional gateway and goods commonly move on to Saudi Arabia, Oman and East Africa. Note that each destination has its own labelling and certification requirements.
