What is RNPA and do I need it?
RNPA is the product registration and RNE the establishment registration required before an imported food can be sold. Your importer obtains them, and ACMFOOD supplies the specifications and test data behind the applications.
What are the main risks in this market?
Import authorisation and access to foreign currency have both been constrained, which affects payment as much as entry. We would rather raise that at the quotation stage than let a finished container sit waiting for a payment that cannot be made.
Do octagon warning labels apply?
Yes. Argentina applies front-of-pack octagon warnings for products exceeding thresholds for sugars, sodium, saturated fat and calories. Because it depends on the recipe, check it during formulation.
What tariff applies to beverages from Vietnam?
There is no free trade agreement between Vietnam and Argentina, and Mercosur external tariffs on beverages are high. Verify the rate for your HS code before building a landed cost.
Can you commit to a delivery date?
We can commit to a production window of 15 to 30 days after order confirmation. What happens after the goods leave depends on clearance and authorisation, and we will not promise a shelf date we do not control.
