What is the minimum order quantity for Germany?

500 cartons per SKU is the standard minimum. Several SKUs can be combined into one container, which is the usual way to start a German launch without overcommitting on a single flavour.

Your importer is the food business operator named on the pack and handles the customs declaration and the German packaging and deposit registrations. ACMFOOD supplies specifications, certificates of analysis and traceability records. Confirm your own obligations with the competent authority or your customs broker.

Mandatory information must be given in German for the German market. We plan artwork around this from the first draft, because retrofitting German copy into a layout designed for English usually means redoing the label.

Pfand is the German deposit-return system on cans and bottles. Packs sold at retail carry deposit marking, which takes space on the label and has to be planned into the design rather than added at the end.

EVFTA reduces tariffs on a staged schedule, so the rate depends on both the HS code and the year. Check the current schedule for your specific product rather than assuming duty-free entry, and prepare origin documentation to claim the preference.

Hamburg and Bremerhaven serve Germany directly. Many Vietnamese shipments also enter the EU through Rotterdam and move on by road. Transit time affects the shelf life remaining on arrival; our products carry 18 to 24 months depending on product and format.
