Beverage Manufacturing Solutions for the Korean Market
ACMFOOD manufactures OEM, ODM and private label beverages in Vietnam for Korean importers, distributors and brand owners. Minimum order is 500 cartons per SKU and production takes 15 to 30 days. Korea regulates imported food through the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the declaration your importer files is detailed. Ingredient statements and specification data are examined closely, and functional ingredients are governed by their own Korean lists rather than by international practice.
ACMFOOD works to that split. We provide formulation, production, quality documentation and export paperwork; your importer files the import declaration with MFDS and handles customs.
First shipments are commonly inspected more thoroughly than repeat ones, so the quality of the specification pack matters. Getting it right once tends to make every subsequent shipment easier.

What is the minimum order quantity for South Korea?
500 cartons per SKU is the standard minimum. Several SKUs can be combined into one container, which is the usual way to start a Korean launch without overcommitting on a single flavour.
Who files the import declaration?
Your importer submits the food import declaration to MFDS. ACMFOOD supplies the specifications, certificates of analysis and traceability records behind it. Confirm your own obligations with MFDS or your customs broker.
Why is the first shipment inspected more closely?
Korea applies closer scrutiny to first-time products and suppliers. A complete and accurate specification pack is the difference between a smooth first clearance and a delayed one, which is why we prepare it before shipment rather than on request.
Which trade agreement gives the best rate?
Vietnam and Korea are covered by VKFTA, AKFTA and RCEP. VKFTA is often the better of the three for Vietnamese goods, but it depends on the HS code, so compare before choosing which origin documentation to prepare.
Does the label have to be in Korean?
Mandatory information must be given in Korean. We plan artwork around this from the first draft, because retrofitting Korean copy into a layout designed for English usually means redoing the label.
Which port should my shipment go to?
Busan handles most container traffic and Incheon serves the Seoul region. Transit from Vietnam is short with frequent sailings. Our products carry 18 to 24 months of shelf life depending on product and packaging format.
